Small flat in an old farm of Poble Sec. Acquired in very bad state of conservation, with the original partition walls and design, therefor, very compartmentalized and only a small bathroom located in the exterior.
The customer was looking for a very fluid space that communicates both open areas increasing the sensation of amplitude and natural lighting, but still keeping two bedrooms that can be closed eventually.
We use a wall (off-axis, to get some more space) that divides the public and private area with huge sliding doors. A small balcony was built towards the interior of the building to "attract" more light to the dark areas.
